Additional Options

During the summer, we offer Additional Option services which can be added onto your camper's Tenderfoot, Trailblazer, or Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic enrollment. Our Additional Options are designed to offer parents and caregivers flexibility when it comes to when and where they pick up and drop off their children. Registration for our Additional Options open in the spring. Families who register before Additional Option registration begins will be informed via email when registration opens.

Please note, we do not offer extended care or transportation options for our Break Camps, Early Start Camp, or Summer Boost.

Morning Care

We offer morning care options for our Tenderfoot Camp and Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic.

Good Morning Club (Tenderfoot Camp)
7:30-8:15 am
Parents and caregivers can drop off their camper starting at 7:30 am before the camp day begins. Campers are supervised by senior members of the Tenderfoot staff. Please note, Good Morning Care is only available for Tenderfoot Campers on the Old Gulph Road campus.

Early Morning Care (Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic)
8-9:15 am
Parents and caregivers can drop off their camper starting at 8 am before the camp day begins. Campers are supervised by senior members of the BRM staff.

Afternoon Care

We offer afternoon care options for our Tenderfoot Camp, Trailblazer Camp and Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic.

After Camp Experience (ACE) (Tenderfoot and Trailblazer Camps)
3:20-5:45 pm
ACE is designed for parents and caregivers who need additional childcare after the camp day ends. ACE is offered at both campuses with age appropriate activities including swimming and games. Campers are supervised by senior members of the Tenderfoot and Trailblazer staff.

After Care (Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic)
3:45-5:45 pm
After Care allows parents and caregivers the flexibility to pick up their campers after the end of the camp day. Campers are supervised by senior members of the BRM staff while they enjoy some additional time on the court.

Transportation

We offer two different transportation options: an Inter-Campus Shuttle that runs between our Tenderfoot and Trailblazer Camps and an Off-Campus Shuttle for our Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic.

Inter-Campus Shuttle (Tenderfoot and Trailblazer Camps)
In the morning and the afternoon, an inter-campus shuttle runs between the City Avenue and Old Gulph Road campuses. This service gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to drop off/pick up their campers at the campus of their choice. Parents and caregivers can choose to register for a round trip or one-way ride (morning or afternoon). Registration is required to utilize this service as space is limited. Please note, there is no shuttle option for our extended day programs.

Off-Campus Shuttle (Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic)
In the morning and the afternoon, an off-campus shuttle runs between the City Avenue and a handful of stops in West Philadelphia. This service gives parents and caregivers peace of mind knowing that their campers will be able to reliably and safely get to campus in the morning and to the stop in the afternoon. Registration is required to utilize this service, and space is extremely limited. Please note, there is no shuttle option for our extended day programs.

One-on-One Basketball Instruction

One-on-One Basketball Instruction (Basketball, Reading, and Math Clinic only)
One-on-One basketball instruction is offered to campers who are interested in expanding their skills and getting personalized instruction from one of our veteran coaches. This instruction runs once a week after camp dismissal with sessions typically running 45 minutes. This instruction is offered with or without additional After Care.
